How to send a message to the Mountain News

Hello Everyone,

Do you have a question or something for me to post to the Mountain News?  It is easy to do.  Simply click below any message to “Comment” .  All Comments come directly to my inbox first.  I respond to your questions or, when you have something to post, I turn it around.

It is by far the easiest for all to read if your item to post is just in the subject of your message to me.  Keep it simple, just black and white, left justified.  If you have an attachment and can “copy and paste” that is the best.

Glad to keep the Mountain News headed your way,

Bonnie Phelps

Frosted Flowers & Fabulous Furniture

TK Bergman sent a link to his blog.  I went through it this morning and thought you might enjoy it too.

The ‘Frosted Flowers’ were taken on Palomar in the French Valley: http://web.mac.com/tkworksu/Site/Frosted_Flowers.html

Like a custom piece of furniture?  Check out http://web.mac.com/tkworksu/Site/My_Passion.html

Browse around his site you’ll recognize more folks from the Mountain – their roots run pretty deep – see TK’s Blog.     You can also click to read family history.

Enjoy,

Hwy 76 CLOSED Sat. April 17th

Just spoke with Wendy Schlater, the contact for the Three Mile Walk.  She said that Hwy 76 will be closed from Oak Knoll Campground at the South Grade to the East Grade on that day.  Saturday, April 17th from 8:30 to 12:30

Through traffic on Hwy 76 will be detoured over the top of the Mountain during the closure.

Might was well join in on their walk – it’s a good cause:
