Join us for a 3 mile Sexual Assault Awareness Walk

The La Jolla Native Women’s Advisory Committee & La Jolla Band of Luiseno Indians’ Avellaka Program

Saturday, April 17, 2010

9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

(Hwy 76) La Jolla Indian Reservation

All walkers must be on site by 8:30 a.m.  CHP will not allow any vehicles through check point past 8:30 a.m.  Click for more info:

Registration begins 7:30 a.m. La Jolla Tribal Hall

Walk starts at 9:00 a.m.

According to the U.S. Dept. of Justice, 1 in 3 Indian women will be raped in their lifetime and

more than 6 in 10 will be physically assaulted.

This event is supported by area sister Tribal Governments

  1. Mountain Lion in my chicken pen, bigger than all the dogs i’ve seen up here ,as of to date have lost 6 chickens, didn’t know what was taking them until this morning at 5:15 am. Can leap very high over fences just like a kangaroo.
