Ranch Reduced! All Aboard!

DSC_0090     Burnworth blossom pic_0137 (1)

Such a beautiful Spring this year!  Thanks to Barb Waite who took these apple blossom photos at Palomar Mountain Ranch.  It was part of the property that used to belong to her grandparents.  Lots of history filled with wonderful, happy memories enjoying these apple trees!  Now, it’s your turn to own this beautiful property and maybe write your own book of your family adventures!

The land has now grown to include a charming cabin, a caboose for your guests (or great vacation rental!) and (drum roll) garages that park 7 vehicles!

Check out Palomar Mountain Ranch and let’s go for a tour!  At that same link you will find links to the Union Tribune Story, Caboose in the Woods, and a Channel 10 news broadcast featuring the ranch.

You might also like to read Barb’s books, written from her grandmother’s journals of time on Palomar enjoying this land.

Buyer’s Wish Lists – Can you help?

We are at an all-time low for property up here.  We have some anxious buyers who have seen all, but not found the perfect place yet.

Do you have property you have considered selling?  New listings are certainly appreciated and maybe you could have a quick sale, who knows?  (Buyer already gave notice where they are living!)

Here are some current wish lists:

A couple wanting to move here full time with their little twin boys, would like a cabin that is livable, without a lot of fix-it work.  Must have good internet. Two bedrooms minimum, up to $250,000.  They would love to have a sunny location for a garden.

Several folks are looking for cabins to $150,000.

One family would like to build out a ranch, suitable for horses, and room to have a pond.

Several clients are looking for wonderful weekend getaways that would also make great vacation rentals.

How about a buildable lot with a water share?

A small cabin with separate quarters for guests?  Detached preferably.

Home for full time living, with a garage.

Oh yes, and “a little log cabin on about 10 acres with a stream running through it”.  Lots of folks all saw the same movie.  Palomar just doesn’t have something like the Eastern Sierra’s above us to feed that stream….

So, let’s connect and see what might work for all!

Your business and referrals are sincerely appreciated.

Thank you!!!

Cowboyin’ in these here parts

art fann

Driving down the East Grade of Palomar, you’ll often see cattle dotting the Warner’s Ranch ’round Lake Henshaw.  Those would be Art Fann’s.  One of the nicest guys you’d ever meet. Art is doing what he loves, out there on the back of a horse.  His lovely wife Star,  keeps the home fires burnin’ and also took this pic of her ol’cowboy.

J. Harry Jones with the Union Tribune has another great article for us about Art Fann’s life on the range.

That cowboy I live with sure enjoys every minute in the saddle and appreciates all he has learned from Art.
