Do we have your mailing address? Is it correct?

Once a year the Palomar Mountain Planning Organization (PMPO)  puts together a very informative newsletter.  It is mailed to each property owner’s address.  The Fire Department uses the same data base when they send out their “Hot Notes”.  If you have had a change of address, or would like to receive the PMPO and Fire Department news,  simply reply with your name and address.  I’ll forward and before you know it, that newsletter will be in your mail!

Thanks!

Happy Spring from Palomar Mountain!

Dafodill at Ponderosa Log Cabin, Palomar Mountain   California Poppy on Conifer Road, Palomar Mountain   california poppy palomar mountain

Enjoy this happy little bouquet I picked for you of Spring wildflowers on Palomar!  The Mountain is alive with early Spring color!  I just had to stop when I saw these flowers yesterday to take a few pix and share them with you.  Playing with my new iPad, (a nice gift- thank you!!!), I am so impressed with the camera!  It was windy and I just got in close, and clicked… they sure came out clear!  The colors are so vivid with no Photoshop!  Because some of these are close-ups, I’d never seen the detail, for example, in the white flower below which is a tiny pear blossom!  If you’d like, you can always double click on my photos to enlarge.  And, you are always welcome to any of my photos.  Happy Spring from Bonnie on the Mountain top!

Mice Alert!!!! Need CLEANING?

With the warm winter, there have been two additional breeding times for those pesky mice.  They love to live in cabins and homes where there is plenty of nesting material in your sofas, beds, and closets.

Tired of dealing with the mice that think they own the place? Like to come up to a super clean cabin? Would you like to have your cabin toasty warm with you arrive, or have the windows open for our fresh, spring air? Call Nancy!

Call the Cabinator!!!

Nancy has been a mountain resident since 1997 and really knows how to corner clean and control those mice so they move outside instead of living inside!  Cleaning on the mountain since 2007, she is meticulous – very detailed, and you will be very pleased!  Nancy has all her own equipment, very nice referrals upon request, and is ready to go!  Simply give her a call 76O 742 one754

Fabulous Fixer For Sale

home cabin for sale palomar mountain   cabin home for sale palomar mountain bonnie phelps   home cabin for sale palomar mountain   mountain cabins for sale palomar julian

You may be thinking “I already saw this home!”  Well, come see what it looks like now and take another look!  Recently vacant so the owner went in with a team, did some painting, and corner-cleaned.  Much is fresh and new and neutral, and sparking clean for you!  There are some things you’ll want to do, so bring your tool box or put one of our local craftsman to work and finish it off, and decorate it just for YOU!

You’ll love the outdoor spaces with beautiful retaining and stone work, two outdoor fireplaces, the waterfall, and wrap-around decks.  Such a uniquely beautiful setting!  It has been enjoyed for many years as a full time home.  With 2122 sf and 5 different sleeping options, it sure could be a fun Vacation Rental, too!  You choose the time you want to enjoy the cabin, and have it managed for guests to enjoy.  Income producing real estate could make a lot of sense!  So many options.

It’s time for a new chapter for the Storybook House.  Click and scroll for all the MLS info and lots of photos, and come and explore your possibilities!

Thank you!  Glad to open the doors!  Bonnie Phelps

Rental Needed

Palomar Mountain or Lake Henshaw area preferred.

Long time friends of Frank and Janice Mendenhall, David and Casey lived here for six years, moved to Idaho, and are coming back!

Do you have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin or home to rent?  Ultimate wish list would include a garage and/or workshop.
