Looks like our temperature is dropping with the possibility of our first snow flakes heading our way.

It was very sad to walk in to a cabin last year and see the toilet in half with a block of ice that had cracked the bowl.  It’s a beautiful day to head up to your cabin to make sure the water is off, and have a fresh supply of Antifreeze.

Not able to get up?  There are some local handymen and contractors that could get the job done for you, too.

For those of you who might be wondering how much rain we’ve had.  Here is the scoop.  Gary and Linda Lockard came up to celebrate his Birthday this week. (Happy Birthday Gary!!!).

He is a gadget guy and when I saw his post I thought some of you Mountain News subscribers might be interested in Gary’s  weather report from Bailey Meadow Road this morning:

“Good morning, So far 4.34 inches and it’s still raining. We have a professional Davis PRO 2 weather station. What a great soft rain.”

Female-about 3 years old & about 9 pounds. Tabby grey with tiger stripes. Very friendly and loving but might not get along with other cats.  Comes with cat bed, cat carying cage, litter box, & large bag of food.  

Not able to have cat where I’m moving.  Indoor cat only and good mouser.   Available now.

Subject: Sand bags at the Fire Station

We have sand and sand bags at the fire station by the tree on the corner of East Grade and Crestline Road if any community member needs them.  It’s a “shovel your own” self-serve.  However, anyone who needs assistance can ask a Firefighter.  We’re more than happy to help.
