Oh, you know. It’s that time of year again. We just moved those clocks forward. Spring forward and sleep fast, friends!
Good night from the Mountain top!

Such a beautiful snow day! We had a gentle snow with very little of that promised wind. Happy to see the blossoms on our pear tree seemed to have made it! The apple trees hadn’t bloomed yet, so maybe we’ll have apples this year for the festival!
With that sun out, it is melting fast. Very good news for the newest cabin owner on Palomar! Escrow closed yesterday and they plan to live here full time. Carpet cleaning and moving days are carefully scheduled around this blanket of snow and our next storm-on-the-way!

Yes, we have snow! Smokey is very happy today! I’ll have more pix for you later but for all of you off the mountain, we do have a couple inches up here already and more promised. Maybe up to 11 inches today? We’ll see!
Mother’s Kitchen is OPEN today for us snow bunnies! Let’s go!

Storm moving in. Have you been following the snow forecast? A couple days ago 1 to 3 inches were predicted, then it changed to 4 to 8 inches (hooray!), then yesterday back down to less than an inch of snow (so sad). This morning we are teased with the promise of 4 to 8 inches again.
Plumbers have been working overtime lately repairing pipes from the last freezes. This is just a nudge for you off-mountain folks to make sure your cabin is winterized.
We have two options for you on the Mountain Yellow Pages if you’d like someone else to take care of it for you.
Very welcomed, gentle rain coming down now… we’ll enjoy every minute of the next few days. Happy Sunday!

Looking for a project?? Like the Good Book says, you should ‘build on a firm foundation’. The retaining wall has aged over the years, so once that gets shored up, you’ll have a pretty cute little place waiting to create some happy times on the mountain.
It looks like Spring up here so we have some new photos waiting for you of other cabins. Quick, let’s go see! Might need your mittens by Monday
Details for all the cabins, homes, ranch and land for sale on Palomar are waiting for you at Palomar Properties.
