Need a car towed off the Mountain?

From: Mike Appelman

I’m going to have a flatbed tow truck brought on the mountain to bring up a work storage box, I’m checking if anyone might need a car hauled back to the city?

Anyone?

Tribute to 1944 Airmen

Nearly 74 years ago two military planes tragically collided over Palomar. Mike LaPlant is one of the property owners in the crash location.  He installed a tribute on his land to the dozen young men who lost their lives.

Thank you Mike.

Big Cat for Crossing?

Frank McCarthy mtn lionPalomar Mountain seems to have quite a growing population of mountain lions.  We see tracks and lions up here much more frequent now – right around cabins and homes with children and pets. Thanks to neighbor Frank McCarthy for sharing a recent photo off his trail cam.   I’d be glad to volunteer to make signs pointing to the big cat crossing. You with me?

Real Estate Update

Wow!  So much going on with Mountain Real Estate these days!
Last week we closed a day early on that cute Tiny House on Conifer Road.  Two chimney sweeps yesterday, lots of tree and brush work being done on three properties for safety and insurance purposes, and an electrical update.  One home exterior is being painted, new siding on another plus a dowser, grading for a drilling rig and a well going in!

Several properties have had extensive easement situations worked out after many hours in front of the computer.  Property owners files are often the best first source, then even neighbor contact for old records.  We finishing up with surveyors and title companies to puzzle things out with great success lately.

This whirl-wind activity has all be woven around showings and new listing opportunities.  Running out now to post another ‘In Escrow’ sign.  Woo hoo!

Glad to get YOUR questions answered anytime.  It is always a pleasure to deal with real estate on this beautiful mountain.

Thank you ALL,

Bonnie Phelps
