The Observatory is closed “for the indefinite future”. Please see note below.
(It could be quite a while if they happen to be out of tp and this Costco sign is accurate. 23,000 years?!??? Sorry, I couldn’t resist!). Bonnie

To the Friends of Palomar Observatory:
I’ve invited everyone to come to the Observatory on Saturdays for the presentations we do in our Greenway Talks Series.
Now regrettably I have to tell you that the Greenway talks are cancelled and, due to the coronavirus emergency, the Observatory is closed to the public for the indefinite future.
We’ve been putting together a schedule of summer events and, for the same reason, those events now are all on hold. I’ll let you know when the Observatory reopens. When it does reopen, we’ll finish putting together a program of events for the summer.

Hi Rach,
Wow, Covid 19 is taking its toll on Palomar, see below. Also, I heard on the CH-8 (KFMB) news that there was a big landslide @ Black’s Beach today. Let me know if you hear any details.
Best, Bob
