5.87 inches of rain at Boucher Lookout!

Curt Waite, Chairman of the Forest Fire Lookout  Association, San Diego Chapter, just reported their rainfall total at Boucher Lookout.

5.87 inches for this storm.

Apparently 3 inches was recorded at Doane Pond area.

We thought we were doing well getting 2.25 inches at our place on State Park Road.

So interesting to see the difference in the totals on this Mountain.

We’re enjoying every drop!

    Hi Bonnie! That total from Boucher Lookout is absolutely amazing! We got 2.25″ at our little place by the Lodge (work is starting there, this week). Filled up the bird bath, no problem. I watched the local news last night, and only saw one rainfall total for Palomar reported — and it sure wasn’t any of our 2-inchers!
