Bernadette is on a mission, to finish selling her Dinner tickets before the end of the weekend. Find Bernadette before she finds you! She’ll be dressed in green and will have tickets in hand.
 
This weekend only!!  From 11am until 2pm, tickets to the St Paddy’s Day Dinner and Fundraiser will be on sale in the parking lot at the Summit (near the Post Office). 
 
Tickets sales and seating are limited for this catered event. Get your tickets now as there will be no door sales.
 
Dinner is Saturday Night, March, 20 at 5 pm.  Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner, includes dessert and soft drinks. Vegetarian option is available upon request. Children under 12 eat free with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Please Join Our Team and Walk With Us

Lung cancer is responsible for over 30% of all cancer deaths. It kills twice as many women each year as breast cancer and three times as many men as prostate cancer. The fastest growing group getting lung cancer are young women who have never smoked. We don’t know why. It is sad that lung cancer is the most underfunded cancer even though it kills more people than the next 5 cancers combined. 

On May 2nd, 2010 I am participating in the 2nd annual San Diego Breath of Hope Lung Cancer Walk.  I hope that you can help make a difference by walking with me on May 2nd or making a donation to my team. Also I would hope that if you see legislation to support lung cancer funding, you would vote for it. Thank you.

Earl’s latest project – Look inside!

  

A few days ago I happened by the Community Center and saw Earl’s car.  (It has been there MUCH of the past year or so, with he many months he has put in.)  Went in to see Earl’s latest project.  He was finishing up installing a computer work station that could have many uses in the years to come.  He picked out the beautiful new furniture too Mission style – no fabric to the floor to temp the critters to take up residency.
