Free Shed

You just never know the bargains you can get off the Palomar Mountain News!  Today’s Freebie is a Shed!  Imagine that! It is waiting for you to take it away.

Go up Crestline Road, to Road Marker 5, turn right and you can’t miss it.  It has a small electricial panel but has not been hooked up to power in years.  Take it all away, and it is yours.  Much appreciated!

Do you have extra jackets or blankets?

Cold weather months are approaching and gently used, clean jackets and blankets are much appreciated by some of those less fortunate.  Do you have extra jackets or blankets taking up room in your cabin?  You are invited to drop them off at our place and leave inside our entry, or I am glad to pick them up.  I’ll be taking them down Sunday to a homeless ministry in Escondido to be distributed at a Monday Thanksgiving Dinner.

Thanks!

Yellow Ribbons on Palomar today!

Yellow ribbons are tied on oak trees lining the road into the Conference Center today.  It is a warm Palomar welcome to Michael Acosta who just arrived home from Afghanistan.  His mom, Hilda Yule, couldn’t be happier!

Thank you Michael, and welcome back to America!
