We started off with wonderful soup at Mother’s Kitchen for lunch, then decided to take a few pix for you. Home for some time in front of the fire, then headed down tonight to the Round Up for ribs. Could not resist stopping along the way. Quite lovely up here. Enjoy your view from my lens . . .

CURE for Cabin Fever!!
The owners of this charming cabin sent these pix taken late this afternoon. They LOVE every minute at their cabin. Those prints are the pups who beg to come up and go for walks in the woods. The remodeling is finished the remodeling is finished, it is decorated to the max, and would like to take on a bigger one! Now is your chance!
It looks like we are headed to maybe less than half the snow predicted so it is easy to run around, open the doors and cure your Cabin Fever!

Snow on 88.9 – not the typical snow pic!
Have you turned in to 88.9? Great stuff. The station site is out there on the west side of Palomar in the Agua Tibia area. Thinking the broadcast site was looking about the same this afternoon as it did our last storm when Marcos captured the photos here.
Marcos O’Rourke – These pictures were taken on our way up to and at our broadcast site on a peak to the northwest of Palomar proper. Our station at this site is 88.9 KSDW.

Did you change your clocks?
It’s the return of Daylight Savings Time! Turn clocks Forward!
Just a friendly reminder . . . it’s the return of Daylight Savings Time!
We enjoy this time of year, because prospective buyers are out taking
advantage of the longer days to spend more time looking for a new cabin,
home, ranch, or lots and land on beautiful Palomar Mountain!
Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday, March 11, 2012.
Safety Tip: It is recommended to “change” the batteries in your
fire alarms TWICE a year . . . . an easy way to remember is to
change the batteries when Daylight Savings . . . begins and ends . . .

Long Live Palomar State Park!
Did it Snow?
For all of you on the Mountain, you have your own beautiful view this morning. For those of you off the Mountain, the answer is “yes”. We woke up to a new blanket of snow with the thermometer reading 22 degrees! We’ll enjoy it while we can because the sun just came out and should be pretty much only a memory this weekend.
Have a wonderful day!!!
