We have our wood stoves toasty warm the past few delightful days on the Mountain. Hot chocolate? That can be arranged. There is also a price reduction waiting for you at this charming Happy Holler. Bundle up, and come on up! Oh, just think! You could celebrate Thanksgiving this year on the Mountain! Now, that is a wonderful idea!

Everyone is invited to bring your favorite apple goodies to share at the Festival this Sunday afternoon!
Let’s see… I just might have a very yummy, apple pumpkin soup in a crock pot. For sure, I am bringing peanut butter/apple smiles for the kids-of-all-ages to make. Very fun – be sure to stop by and take away a smile!
Or, how about this one? Apple Pickin time also means ” Pumpkin Apple Dip”:
1 8oz Cream Cheese
1/2 C. Brown Sugar
1/2 C. Canned pumpkin
1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
2 tsp. Pure Maple syrup
Beat cream cheese, brown sugar, Maple syrup and canned pumpkin until well blended.
Continue beating while adding in Ground Cinnamon. Beat until smooth. Chill at least 1 hour. Serve with apples and Ginger Snap cookies.

For those of you intrigued by the ‘Beauty in the Woods’ over the years, it is back on the market! It is better than ever now, sparkling clean, and such a nice new view opened up. There are quite a few trail cameras set up on Palomar now. Several of them move around a bit so it is quite interesting to see what they capture. I’ll have some more pix heading your way soon!
