What a beautiful remodel with new windows and siding, too. How about a very private location on a acre with views through the trees to the Observatory? Cabins for Sale on Palomar Mountain
There is a new listing ready for your viewing pleasure. The “Little Green Cottage in the Woods” has a brick fireplace with a slate entry. Come in from one of those snowy days, kick off your boots, and warm up by the fire. It is a beautiful, early spring so you don’t even need jackets now, so come on up and join us!

Free Camping after work day in State Park this Sunday!
Get outside, make new friends, and volunteer in state parks this spring! Join one of our friendly Park Champions teams for an upcoming workday. Help restore plant and animal habitat at Palomar Mountain State Park. FREE TENT AND RV CAMPING is available at Palomar on Sunday night. Register and see a map here.
Sunday, April 19, 9am-1pm This workday will focus on removing invasive plants to help restore habitat for native plants and animals. Moderate two mile hike required. Kids 12 and up welcome with a legal guardian. Free camping Sunday night. Tent and RVs, no hookups.

Mother’s Kitchen Munchies
So, the other day I was STARVIN’ and remembered a recent Facebook post for a grilled cheese sandwich at Mother’s. When I was ordering, I was asked if I wanted avocado and tomato, too. Well of course! Alaska Dreams – Cabin For Sale
When the owner took a dream-come-true job in Alaska, they just couldn’t fit this little cabin in their luggage. Lots of updates have been in the works since the cabin had it’s beginnings in 1948. Now it is time to button things up and enjoy this little cabin in the woods.

Maybe snow with rain tomorrow?
It’s nice to have a change in the weather hopefully bringing a little bit of moisture to our mountain. If the weatherman is wrong this time and we get a LOT, we’ll take that too. Meanwhile, just had to share the toasty, warm fire at Mile High Lodge.
