Apparently the official first day of spring was a few weeks ago. It would have been very hard to convince those of us on Palomar Mountain. Many were still dealing with lots of snow. In fact some still are!
Yesterday I was off on an adventure, showing property in our 6-wheel drive Polaris. I mentioned that I should have brought a chain saw in case a tree was blocking the little dirt road, but I didn’t think about snow. Steve was up to see property and found himself put to work, getting out to drag branches so we could get by. Then, I was glad we had those beefy tires as we had fun backing up and gunning it to get through the patches of snow; still a foot deep in places!
Had to smile back this morning when I saw this happy little daffodil show it’s face. Yes, trees are budding out, the land is greening up and nine listings will be ‘springing up’ as active real soon!
So yes, we’re still here, busy as ever with Real Estate on the Mountain and plan to split our time with family in Missouri. Meanwhile, our son Brandon is heading this way with the boys for a visit and work on some real estate projects together.
