Nearly 74 years ago two military planes tragically collided over Palomar. Mike LaPlant is one of the property owners in the crash location. He installed a tribute on his land to the dozen young men who lost their lives.
Thank you Mike.

Bonnie, Thanks for sharing. What a great video and tribute. The plaque was placed onsite just recently? Do know if Mike LaPlant has contacted the Navy about the remaining wreckage? Interesting tidbit about that tragic event. http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/1988-12-03/news/0080430250_1_ring-clinton-baker-crash
Thanks, Gidget Nelson

Thank you Gidget. I just connected you to Mike. Such a nice story about the ring being found and returned to the family.
