What is your favorite time of year? Sunny sky or snow on the ground?
Vintage cabin from 1950 has great year-round access fronting on Bailey Meadow Road. 966 sf gives you a fireplace in the living room with tall open beam ceiling and stairs to a stand-up loft.
A roomy bedroom and enclosed porch that could fit a couple twin beds. An eat-in country kitchen and bathroom are waiting for you, too. You’ll also find laundry hookups in a little shed out back. In addition, there is a tiny garage under the deck. Cars were smaller way back then so this is a great place for firewood and sled storage!
How much land? This little cabin is on one of the smallest pieces of land on the mountain. It is .12 tenths of an acre – but no close cabins so has the feel of lots more privacy than you think. Let’s take a look!
Cleaning folks are finishing up! Meanwhile, come on up and take a look at the only little cabin for sale this minute on Palomar.
Let’s go see!
Bonnie,
Oh, that description of the little red cabin gave me pangs of memories. My folks built it and loved it so much. Hope someone good buys it.
The cedar paneling in the living room is from trees grown right on the mountain. For a while Wog had a set-up for cutting trees and making lumber. My Dad, Walt Ekbert, bought lumber from him to do this paneling. Just a small point of info.
Take care, Alicelynn
