We are all asked to keep the 100 feet around our structures groomed to be more fire safe. This is sure the perfect weather to be out there trimming branches, thinning trees, raking and doing some fall clean up.
Some folks have standing dead trees, low branches over roof-lines and situations that need more than an afternoon with a rake.
Your Fire Safe Council has worked hard to have grants with funds available for Palomar residents. This one will assist with 50% of the cost with some guidelines.
