Vote for your Favorite Stamp by Tues. Sept 30th

Hello Everyone,

When this email arrived, I clicked thorough to glance at the stamps. The train engine caught my eye. It has always been interesting to see railroad easements on some of the properties off State Park Road. Apparently the idea of having a train ride available to the top of Palomar Mountain was important enough a hundred plus years ago to have the deeds drawn up and recorded. That would have been quite a project to run the tracks from sea level all the way up to nearly 6000 feet. Oh the adventures to hear about if we’d had our own little depot up here!

Vote For Your Favorite Stamp to be Reissued by Sept. 30

As Postmasters for Valley Center, Pauma Valley, Pala, and Palomar Mountain, we are proud to share that the United States Postal Service is inviting the American public to help shape a unique part of our nation’s cultural history — our postage stamps.

Through the Encore Stamp Campaign, the Postal Service is giving everyone a chance to vote on their favorite previously issued stamps, with the top five being reissued as Forever® stamps in a special Encore Collection set to debut in 2026.

Voting ends on September 30, 2025, and you can vote for your top five favorites from a list of 25 beloved stamp designs at stamps forever.com/vote. These stamps reflect the rich diversity of America — from natural landscapes and artistic achievements to cultural icons and moments in history.

There’s no limit to how many times you can vote — so let your passion for stamps, history, and design shine through. The winning stamps will be revealed at the Boston 2026 World Expo, a celebration of global philately and innovation.

At the Postal Service, we’ve long believed in the power of stamps to capture moments, honor milestones, and connect people. The Encore Stamp Campaign continues that legacy — and now, we’re inviting you to be a part of it.

We’d love to hear which stamps you are voting for! Please stop in and let us know.

Sincerely,

Beatriz Ibarra, Pauma Valley, Pala, and Palomar Mountain
Adrian Barajas, Valley Center
