| Hello Everyone, When this email arrived, I clicked thorough to glance at the stamps. The train engine caught my eye. It has always been interesting to see railroad easements on some of the properties off State Park Road. Apparently the idea of having a train ride available to the top of Palomar Mountain was important enough a hundred plus years ago to have the deeds drawn up and recorded. That would have been quite a project to run the tracks from sea level all the way up to nearly 6000 feet. Oh the adventures to hear about if we’d had our own little depot up here!
