Mountain Hoedown

Everyone is invited to the Mountain Hoedown a week from Saturday from 11 until 2:00. Volunteers have been busy planning, securing the permits, designed and printed the cute banner, clearing, trimming and raking. The stage was past it’s prime so it went away and is in the process of being all brand new. Food was ordered and it will be all ready for an enjoyable afternoon together on the Mountain.

One of our neighbors’ Chris Clarke will be singing and strumming great music with his band. You’ll be tapping your feet and maybe even what to get up and dance!

It’s a fund raiser for the Community Center so there is a $10.00 Entrance fee for adults, kids are free. (It’s a great time to be a kid!) Cash and checks accepted.

A lunch will be will be ready from 11 am until about :00 at the USFS Picnic area next to the Community Center. Carved Beef & Ham will be served with Cole Slaw, Beans, Rolls & Butter, Barbecue Sauce, Julian Apple Pie and lce Cream with plates & utensils provided.

First Come, First Served until it’s gone! Donations are welcomed, too and will all go toward the Community Center.

There are so many wonderful items already delivered for the Opportunity Drawing and more are welcomed! (Stay tuned for more info!)

Bring your own water and chairs (and small table if you’d like). Alcohol & pets are not permitted on the Community Center grounds.

You may eat in the amphitheater area from the barbecue or bring food from home. However, we are not able to accommodate a potluck dishes.

Parking at the USFS Picnic Area & Rainford’s Lookout (pullout on the East Grade, across from Fire Station.)
