Looking for an old-fashioned, fun time on Labor Day Weekend? Like to hear some great bluegrass by one of our Mountain Musicians? How about meeting some of your neighbors who love Palomar so much, they call it ‘home’?
This little mountain community has some very dedicated volunteers that have been working behind the scenes to orchestrate this event for all of us to enjoy:
Saturday, September 2nd 11 am to 2 pm, $10 per person, kids free!
Pull in on Summit Circle, just to the west (left) of the Fire Station in the National Forest Picnic Area.
Gary and Lynda Lockard are treating us to a beef and ham barbecue lunch with cole slaw, rolls and butter. There will also be pie and ice cream. Sorry it does not work for others to bring food potluck-style. Donations are welcomed.
Neighbor, Chris Clarke and his band Plow will be playing and singing on the Community Center stage. You are invited to sit ’round the stage (limited chairs so you might want to bring your favorite), enjoy your lunch, the music and maybe even get up and dance!
The event is a fund raiser for the Community Center. You’ll also have the opportunity to get in on the Raffle! Irresistible prizes and more on that soon!
Hope to see YOU there!
Big THANKS to all for making this happen!
Bonnie Phelps, Mountain Realtor always up for fun times on Palomar
