The weatherman promises 100 degrees in the desert this weekend for these racing teams on their way to Palomar. They will appreciate the cooler temps on the Mountain! One of the teams is staying at Cabin Fever. It was fun to hear about the race, their team and their cause.
The race begins down at the Salton Sea and the finish line is at the top of the mountain at Upper Meadow Lodge. Lets cheer them on!!!

We are raising funds to fight childhood inactivity through the 100 Mile Club. For those of you who don’t know much about the 100 Mile Club, check them out at 100mileclub.com. The founder, Kara Lubin, is my crew captain for this race. So she’ll be out there with me driving alongside as our team runs 81 miles.
