Going down the East Grade, we stopped for a few minutes while a huge crane was getting in place to set some new poles. We were told that SDG&E is replacing wooden poles with steel poles, across the mountain. The plan is to have a safer situation during fires, storms and high winds.
So, that’s what those guys are doing out there. You heard about it right here, on Palomar Mountain News. Imagine that!
