“We’re in this Life together” – from Jana

From: Jana Lucaccioni
Good News!!! Doggies have homes!

Almost 2 weeks to the day that I found them on the side of the road….they now both have been adopted and have homes.  Unfortunately they were not able to go together, but at least they are safe and loved and have a home.  They spent a week at the North County Animal Shelter (who could really use some Volunteers…esp. on Wednesdays) and were adopted from there.

I am grateful to all the people who “paid it forward” with emails, phone calls, prayers and holding the vision that they would find loving homes.  I was truly touched by the out pouring of love and compassion and the desire to help from all of you and those you asked.

As a side note…through this chain of events and connection of emails…John received (via a friend) the most touching and wonderful story of gratitude and accomplishment from a lady he had helped years ago buy a home and how what he did set her on a path to build the most beautiful life for herself. She had lost touch with John but through this outreach of emails she was able to tell John how what he did was so important in her life and tell him how thankful she was.  It brought tears to our eyes and expanded our hearts even more.  We just never know how the things we do will touch and influence others lives!

A good ending to a sad beginning for these 2…and I hope this encourages and inspires you to stop the next time you see a dog(s) on the side of the road and lend a helping hand.  We are all in this life together and it is only our love and compassion that defines who we are.

With Love and Gratitude,  Jana
