Since I have a hot water heater hooked up the plumber told me I didn’t need to turn the water off to the house. I would need to drain the pipes going from the well to the tank and from the tank to the house. Thoughts?
Anti freeze in the toilet makes sense…

Hummmm…. I would think you would want to have the water off and drain all your pipes. With a propane water heater, maybe what the plumber was saying is that you don’t need to drain your water heater since the pilot might keep it from freezing?
