Karalee and I had to run up to the cabin tonight to pick up some stuff. When we were driving out on Crestline Road about 11:20 pm and we happened upon lion trotting down the road. He trotted ahead then took a right turn between Kym McClary’s cabin and the Rutlinger’s cabin to the east. He was a great looking cat a 8-8.5″ and probably went 150-175 lbs and was not scared of us in the car. Just wanted everyone to know to be on the lookout.
Have a great weekend, L&K

This mountain lion has been feasting on our chickens for sometime now, it dosen’t just kill one chicken at a time, it kills many and leaves them to rot. We think our chicken pen now is mountain lion proof, we have made the chicken pen with barbed wire at least 12 foot or higher and is totally enclosed. Cant get to the chickens anymore so it turns on its own, except the smaller version ,are cat went missing the same night of your sighting.
Sounds like it was at the back of our property .

Ah nature, I saw a mountain lion once up there going down east grade about 1/2 way to Henshaw where there are some open fields. Amazing.
