One of the PALOMAR BURGLARS ARRESTED

Glad to see that this guy was picked up.

Many of you have inquired about our burglary.  Ours was arranged and done by someone else.  We believe they know we know and are leaving it like that for now…  meanwhile my new computer is humming just fine and we’re back up better than ever before!

Wish they could recover some the the loot from this guy!

SUSPECT ARRESTED IN PALOMAR BURGLARIES

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a suspect in the series of Palomar Mountain burglaries that occurred in July of this year.  The Sheriff’s Dept. identified the suspect, Corey Christopher Kruse, age 42, through the use of DNA evidence, according to Sheriff’s Sgt. Bob Bishop.

Kruse is a resident of East County. Bishop told The Roadrunner, “Our new Analysis Driven Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving (COPPS) unit took the investigation once we ID’d Kruse and determined he was an East County person.”

Deputy Vic Perry of the COPPS united identified Kruse’s DNA from a very similar series of burglaries on Mount Laguna, where he was allegedly hitting vacation cabins, which also happened on Palomar Mountain.

When the unit with Perry did a search warrant at the suspect’s home in La Mesa they located property from some of the other burglaries on Mt. Laguna. No Palomar property was located.

Kruse was arrested and booked into the Vista jail. All of the cases are being submitted to the Vista district attorney’s office for prosecution. The investigation is continuing into other burglaries in the East County that may or may not be related to Kruse, Bishop said.
