| LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO REMEMBER SCOTT’S CABIN TRAIL “SPUR”
Do you have a vivid memory of Scott’s Cabin Trail at Palomar Mtn. State Park? To be more specific, the “spur” that went from State Park Road (Silvercrest picnic area) to the main Scott’s Cabin Trail? If so, your input may be valuable. This trail has been obliterated and closed for a long time due to fire damage and logging, but work is under way to restore it. You may have some valuable information that could help us identify/verify the location of remnants that may still exist so we can piece it back together. For more info, please email Rick Barclay at barclay_zone@yahoo.com Thanks. Rick Barclay Palomar Mtn. State Park Volunteer Trail Maintenance Unit |
