Thanks to Robert Carlyle heading up the Fire Safe Council the past few years. His dedication and patience securing the grants has finally paid off with ‘boots on the ground’ working on projects in different areas around the mountain making key areas more fire safe. His crew just finished a tremendous amount of work, grooming the base of Crestline at East Grade Road. It was a fabulous view during the thunderstorm seeing rain falling across the county so I had to capture it for you. (You can double-click on photos to enlarge). He told me Friday that the crew is now on their way to the Observatory for the next couple months. Thanks Robert!
