Free Safety Class for the Palomar Mountain Community – Open to the Public
Weather Spotting Class
This class will cover the basics of weather anticipation, including storm
development and structure, key features to observe, and safety during severe
storms. It will be taught by a Sky Warn member and a local meteorologist.
The class will last about 2 hours.
Sky Warn is a volunteer group that works with the National Weather Service
to provide local information to improve weather forecasting and
